Hey guys. I have a friend uses octopad and he can put many interesting sounds in it. Also i saw some drummers sets some pads from their electronic drums + computer. Personally prefer natural sounds but still some variations of these pad stuff sound very good i think :)

Hello !

When you're using electronic pads on stage and need access to effects such as delay and reverb, there are a number of options to make your setup easier and more convenient. Here are a few tips:

A MIDI controller: Using a MIDI controller is a common solution for controlling effects from your computer. You can assign individual MIDI controller pads to specific effect parameters, allowing you to easily turn them on or off during your performance. Versatile MIDI controllers such as the Akai MPD226 or Novation Launchpad are good choices.

Pads with built-in effects: Some electronic pads, such as Roland's Octapad, have a built-in effects function. This gives you direct access to a range of popular effects without the need for a computer. You can control effect settings from the pads and easily turn them on or off.

Dedicated effects pedals: If you prefer a more tactile approach, you can use dedicated effects pedals. These pedals allow you to activate and control specific effects (such as delay or reverb) in real time. Brands such as Boss and TC Electronic offer a variety of effects pedals to suit the needs of musicians.

Live effects software: if you're comfortable using a computer on stage, you can use live effects software such as Ableton Live or MainStage. These programs allow you to set up your own custom effects chains and control them using a MIDI controller or master keyboard.
