Interview with The Trouble Notes

This is the story of 3 very talented and very sincere musicians: Bennet, Florian and Olivier - The Trouble Notes. A trio of violin, guitar and cajon is something you might not see every day, but their show confirmed their self-description, 'music from everywhere, for everyone’. Mixing seamlessly between genres, incorporating the traditional and the modern, their music is truly a mix of ideas and cultural backgrounds.

Their following became global just after this beautiful video in front of Strasbourg Cathedral went viral.

We sat down with The Trouble Notes just before their concert at L'Aérogare in Metz, where we chatted over a few beers about their history, their style of music and especially the idea of the genre they offer to the world. Enjoy!
