"Family", "Friends" or "Just a Band?" Frontmen of the world UNITE!

Talking about just how close you can get with your band members. Are they like 'family' to you: are they 'good friends' - or do you regard them (at the moment) as 'just another band?' Is there anything you use as a deciding factor as to which category the band falls into?

I did have a band once and never have I had a closer group of friends. At the moment sadly I am a solo musician but I would always love to get back to that point :) It's an interesting question, nice one Cyberwolf!
