Keeping your precious guitar or bass in a guitar case is one of the smartest things you can do for your instrument. Not only do they provide a convenient way to transport your instrument to the next gig, but they can also protect it from unwanted damage when accidents happen at home or on the road. Cases come in a variety of shapes and materials. Soft cases, or gig bags, are lightweight and easier to carry, but they might offer less protection. Hard cases are stronger and heavier. Flight cases are even stronger and made partially from metal. Finding the right case for you depends on your budget and what the case will be used for. Our advice: make sure you get a good case for your instrument, even if you have to pay a little more. You won't regret it later!
